New LMPD chief says no immediate changes |
RE: New LMPD chief says no immediate changes
I agree with you. I understand all the other names high up on the OT earning list, but I would like to know how he has been earning that kind of OT. Last year he earned just shy of 11k in OT and almost 8k in 2010. I don't get it. This guy has been on since what? 06 or 07? What a joke

RE: New LMPD chief says no immediate changes
He is one of the Health & Safety officers for the department and is paid overtime everytime he gets a call outside of his shift hours. This overtime is approved by the front office (Admin Major) and not through the division. He also volunteers for quite a few late runs and signs up for every overtime traffic detail that comes out. Some of this is self serving to be sure, but you would be surprised at how few officers actually sign up for overtime details nowadays. He gets alot of it simply because nobody else wanted it.
