Former Cadet accused of smuggling contraband

No doubt about it he broke the law, but juries do not always convict people just because they broke the law. Juries will listen to all the reasons the law was broken and if the person had evil intentions. If I was on the jury, I would assume the kid couldn't wait his turn to be the real police. I doubt he would have gotten a conviction over his terrible misjudgment. No argument with you, that's all I'm saying.
