Mr Mayor, we are watching and waiting

Mr Mayor, choose wisely. Not politically, not emotionally. Choose wisely. Should you fail in your selection process we will be the first to pay the cost, followed closely by the citizens of the city and county who rely on us and have no idea how few officers are are actually in the divisions that pay the most in the taxes you rely on to fund the city. They have been hand fed the smoke and mirrors line for so long they may actually start to blame you for the previous administrations failure and outright lies. Other than that, good luck, god bless and don't

"I am going to give him a chance to make his final selection first, before I judge him."

WHY ??? He is "Jerry Lite". He was Jerry's favorite during the campaign, kept Jerry's staff intact, and continued the same policies. Wait wait I got it he settled the car issue without fighting it for years. Yeah good deal on that, we gave in and it didn't cost the city millions in court. But they did get to keep our interest since it was supposed to be in a special account while it was going through court. Its February and he still hasn't settled the EMS contract and what is the current status of LMPD's contract. Wait he's obviously negotiating in good faith but at a concerned pace out of concern for the tax payer. A "B U L L S H * T" report about overtime. Everyone who works for the city knows the OT is planned because its cheaper to pay OT than hire someone and pay salary and benefits but he was to much of a wimp to say it. Now that will be in jeopardy for the lucky ones who were getting that benny. The virtual 9th division is just a scam to get around paying OT. People volunteer for it and have their schedules changed to avoid OT. How far into his administration and all we have is a new Animal Control director, a committee to look for "his" chief for him costing tens of thousands, and metro employees going without contracts. Yeah much better than the last one. The only thing that changed is he has a better image because he hasn't been around long enough to be tarnished. I will give him credit for one thing, Hey Glidewell hows it feel to be told no thanks after all that a** kissing??
