I want to be nice but bluntness seems to be required on this one. Your intentions may be pure but you sound like an idiot (apologies). Your wish that the FOP would grow some nuts seems to send the message that you think the FOP has no nuts. I need specifics please because it seems those we have elected to represent us have done a fairly good job. This brings me to my next point. If you are an officer (except two of them) then YOU are the FOP. Perhaps you meant to say that the elected leadership of the FOP needs to grow some nuts? If so, then again I need specifics. I've seen good things from those we have elected. Maybe YOU are just talking out of your **s.

Take a vote and take it to the Mayor? Really? Newsflash Einstein, this isn't an election. The Mayor has complete authority over this appointment. However, if you don't think that the FOP leadership has taken our "voice" to the Mayor then you are sadly mistaken.

Officers or anyone else making themselves look like idiots on Face Book is a personal choice and the FOP has no control over it.

I certainly hope you can give all of us more insight on this because it appear as if you are completely disconnected from the FOP and made a kneejerk post. I'm not elected and I can't make it to every meeting, but I keep myself informed and I have no doubt "the FOP" is on top of this. I'm just sayin…
