Five finalists named for Louisville Metro Police Department chief

I really see no point for the average officer to be chearleading any of the candidates like this is some sort of sports contest. If you work for LMPD, sure you have a vested interest in who becomes Chief. But in the grand scheme of things, it does not matter a whole lot whoever gets the job. Very few officers have the credentials as any of the candidates so they are in a league of their own anyway and you will never be where they are. Therefore, work hard, get paid, go home! Ignore the hype.

Does the mayor understand the Gentry got her position under Chief White by taking a position under Chief White. For god sake mayor do some research and background checks. Ask the rank and file of the departments were the folks work now to see what they thank of the candidates. Don't depend on a bunch of eggheads!

Wow, Gentry, what a light weight. Has all the education and training of an underwater basket weaver. Probably would be good at running a kindergarten, considering how she demeans people in public. She does not have a clue about what it takes to be a CO. Well she has two serious criteria but we hope the Mayor looks beyond them. They are quite superficial in reality.
