Jefferson Co. Constable David Whitlock sues Metro Government

I stole this from another story, but I think it's says it all!!!

Dear Dave,

I met you a several years ago when you were sniffing around the small cites trying to get someone to hire you. Much to your surprise, no one would! As I told you back then if you want to be a policeman then you have to work and earn it. Getting elected is "NOT" earning it!!! Now, fast forward about 10 years and now you have managed to get yourself elected to an outdated, not needed office which is fine, but you are still trying to take shortcuts. Once again if you really want to become a policeman then earn it. You can start by stop surrounding yourself with these clowns that you're calling deputies. All these guys are doing is bringing you down and keeping you on the bottom like an anchor. The second thing is to get you –self in shape and attend the DOCJT academy in Richmond. I know it's going to be tough, but if you spent more time getting yourself in shape instead of running around suing people and acting like a fool then I know you can do it… The bottom line is that there are 3 constables is Jefferson County, and we hear "NOTHING" from the other two.

He has a good claim about the money as he is owed that under state law which you cannot change by local ordinance
