Officer shot in the Portland neighborhood, second officer transported to hospital

Chris, I was one of the officers who responded (off duty by the way) to the "injured" EMT, and I was one who shut down several cross streets so the buggy could get moving quicker. We were advised that an EMT had been assaulted and STABBED and was being taken code three to university. We responded quickly and correctly based on what we were advised. I have shut down streets for dozens of citizens in the past years who were involved horrendous vehicle collisions, assaults (beatings, stabbings and shootings), and other injuries that have been discovered, and I will continue to do it.

If you disagree with this practice, please remember that it may be you or your child we are escorting. But don't worry, knowing that you are an atheist I won't waste a prayer for your health or soul when I do this (which is my normal practice), nor will I send positive thoughts your way, because you choose to see the negative in everything. I will pray for your daughter and your ex-wife, since I recognize they aren't you.

If you still disagree with this practice, run for office and get the policy changed.

Or just S*u*c*k it up and live with it.

Either way I don't care.
