Officer shot in the Portland neighborhood, second officer transported to hospital |
RE: Officer shot in the Portland neighborhood, second officer...
Then I ask you, the EMT who received the road closed escort to the hospital. What did he do, to DESERVE that escort to the hospital?
Unless he did something to DESERVE IT, then quite simply, his uniform ENTITLED him to it.
you have closed roads, and provided escorts for trivial things for yourselves, and as a qualifier, you point out taking a child who had been shot in the head. The medical attention necessary for that childs life was deserving of the attention. A broken arm, facial cuts, or any other various flesh wounds, are not 'deserving', which makes them entitlement. A uniform doesnt 'deserve' anything. A uniform brings entitlement. When these actions are performed for cops by explicitly not for society, then that is not deserving, it is entitlement. You know going into every day, if ANYTHING happens to a cop, then will receive a roads closed police escort simply because they are a cop.
