There is nothing wrong with feeling like you are better as long as you do not act on those beliefs. It's like being a racist. You can feel any way you want about anybody. You have only crossed the line when you act on it. For example, I am very prejudice but you would never know it, because I am always respectful to anyone I encounter. And I'm also better than you.
