First, I'll ask that you don't use "you" when speaking to me in your generalizations of police officers. It is ineffective on many levels. You don't know me as I don't know you. So for the sake of behaving like adults, I'd appreciate if you would refrain from general statements like "you lie to people's faces" and the like. Didn't you claim someone else attacked you with ad hominem statements? Yet it's ok to do it to me? Interesting, indeed.

Second, in actuality (as someone who was once a news editor), I can tell you that it happens more often than anyone realizes. HOWEVER, the media deems the stories about injured (minor to fatal) emergency services personnel to the be the newsworthy segments, not the "everyman" that was rushed to the hospital in a similar manner. Just because you do or do not see something on the news does not mean it is a full representation of the facts and reality of a particular set of circumstances. You are showing your own naivete and ignorance by forming opinions strictly on what you see covered on the 5 oclock news. Wake up. There are plenty of things, both good and bad, that never make it to your TV set. Take up that cause with your local news outlets. They choose what you see. Not us. And why not take up a more worthy cause? Like why they cover "pretty" missing individuals ad nauseum but ignore others completely?

Third, I see you failed to address a specific situation I cited for you in which a little girl was rushed via police escort. Because it doesn't serve your purpose here right? That's the problem with debating with individuals like you. You want to only address what you feel you have a rebuttal for but you completely ignore stated facts that contradict your bias. Don't speak for people you don't know. I'm not speaking for you. You don't know the motivation behind the escort the EMT received, but you claim to. Imagine such brazen claims by a complete stranger about your behavior. Of course you won't. Because you are right and we are all "fools".

Lastly, I know you hate it when someone intellectual responds to you. You seem to think everyone here is going to come at you with third grade level semantics and intellect. That is not the case. But I am not angry with you. I am sad for you. Your hatred seeps from you and I think it must be pretty painful to walk around carrying the anger and bitterness that you carry around.
