Out of fairness though, the City is also putting about 250.00 worth of gas in my car every week and I can use that car for just about anything within the county limits, including outside employment at a very reasonable cost in the past. Multiply that times 52 weeks. And they cover all my maintenance costs. I'm also able to insure my whole family for about 100.00 a month. My neighbors pay nearly 1,000.00 a month. Not saying everything in the world of policing is perfect nor is every contract everything some wish for. Just saying we should add in the other things to see the whole package.
