A little top-heavy for him?! Is this serious? There's only 2 "Deputy Chiefs" and 4 "Division Chiefs" in DPD. LMPD has 2 "Deputy Chiefs", 2 "Assistant Colonels", 14+ Majors, and a ridiculous number of Lieutenants placed in their positions by the same guy that says 2 Deputy Chiefs and 4 Division Chiefs is "a little top-heavy"!? I could swear this article is straight off 'The Onion' or SNL's 'Weekend Update'. If it's serious, the unintended/ironic satire is AMAZING!

So Bill Lamb is going to begin featuring Betty Baye as a regular guest editorial on his "Point of View" segments. The day before her first spot aired, I told my spouse she would no doubt discuss cops vs. black people in some way or another. Go figure. That's exactly what she did. Why is Lamb giving air time to people like Baye? Really? I used to enjoy his POV segment, but it has steadily gotten worse over the years, especially when the take home car fee issue came up and he sided with Abramson and White, categorically claiming we were ingrates and "whiners". Uh. What a disappointment this is. And her opinion is super insightful, too. All hail Chief White!
