As Officers, we're never surprised when it's someone like this guy that nearly kills some of our own. I saw this article and even before doing a CourtNet search on him, already knew he was likely a felon many times over. Of course I won't release any of the information for "any public dissemination", but maybe if the media did a criminal history check or records request, they could provide the public some insight into what kind of criminals are walking the streets because of a horribly broken criminal
