Former KSP Commissioner Ishmon Burks named interim LMPD chief

The posts were eluding to the fact that Burks is making $10,000 for 4 months= $40,000, and the city is spending $50,000 on the SPI garbage. $40,000+$50,000= $90,000. Additionally, the gross and net argument makes no difference. The city pays the gross, not the net, so it is still $40,000 that the city spends unnecessarily.

I keep wondering why the city couldn't appoint a Chief during the 2 month notice White gave. An interim would not be necessary.
