You should rephrase a little bit. The way you stated it, it's like Ish Burks will get 90 grand in 4 months, which isn't the case. He won't even make the 10thou a month people keep crying about. Every article and story has stated that this man will earn "the equivalent of 120,000 a year in salary". Divide 120,000 by 12. That's 10,000 a month. That's 40,000 in 4 months, not NINETY thousand. Not to mention, this is all GROSS we are talking about, not net. In reality, he may earn between 20-30k in 4 months. I agree on the waste of massive money going to SPI, though. All we hear is budget crisis this and shortfall that, but they can find 50k for SPI? For what? Guidance? I really feel Fischer wants to find a good candidate but doesn't have the experience to conduct the search by himself and handle the ramifications of finding the wrong kind of candidate. That's why SPI was brought in. Pretty expensive tactic to save face with the lovely citizens of Louisville, but that's politics.
