Never had to wear a hat on duty, but it seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth. Seems like you would spend more time concerned with whether or not your hat was going to fall off than important things. Maybe officers or troopers that have, can speak to that, but it seems like there could be safety issues involved.

Who cares? I've got plenty of buddies on departments up in New England area that ALWAYS have to wear their hats when outside their vehicles. That's how it is sometimes. It's not a huge inconvenience or a difficult issue and if people would turn a HAT into a sticking point, they need to reevaluate things.

Attention Fleet Manager!!! Please keep an eye on his oil changes. He has a history of NOT changing his oil. When he was with KSP he burnt up the engine in a new car and the governor made him pay for it out of his own pocket...

The day I graduated I took that hat, **** in it, and sent it down the river, that is the GAYIST looking thing I have ever seen in my life and I will never wear it!!!
