Teen fatally shot in confrontation with Shelbyville police officers

Some people believe police officers should be able to magically use "verbal judo" to difuse any situation even in the face of immediate danger. Sorry for the death, but this misguided lad brought this upon himself and might have actually wanted this outcome. It wouldn't surprise me if in the next couple of weeks the autopsy results show positive for some illegal drug use.

My prayers are with the officers and their families. Remember these thoughts, You did not choose the situation, you responded to the cries of help from others and you came home at the end of shift to those that love you. I am proud of both of you for keeping the sheep safe

Mascagni should really know the law before he speaks. "Police don't have the right to kill someone", well actually they do under the provisions of the KRS. "Police don't have the right to enter a home without a warrant", well actualy they do under the provisions of the KRS and standing case law with the Supreme Court. A little thing called exigent circumstance.

See, there is the problem. The reporter described the suspect as the victim. Therfore setting the tone for the publice to form the opinion the suspect was not that, a perp.

There were 3 victims here: the homeowner, and the two officers that were attacked. PERIOD. Ignore the usual liberal slant from the Communist Jack/a/s/s

I have Grand-kids myself and I never have had one of them break out my window to get into my home. Something about this story strikes me as odd.
