Good luck Denver your going to need it. The mayor in Denver sounds a lot like Big Head Jerry the fool who hired White in the first place. If what I'm hearing about Denver's mayor is true then White will fit right in. Also heard Fischers qualifications for chief eliminated all the front office except Robison. Doesn't life work in mysterious ways. Seems this mayor knows if he doesn't clean out Whites cronies this dept will still stay in the same shape. Fischer this dept is putting a lot of faith in you. So please do the right thing.

Let me tell our brothers in Denver I little tid bit. To quote Chief White "I don't care about your morale!" He words to all of us not long after his arrival.

He does care about the officers. He Cares if you have what it takes to be on the Bowling Team.

Hey Denver Police- when White says 'wait and see' and crap like that, it's a ploy. trust us!

I also was in an in-service class, and it used to be White's idea to come in for 30 minutes on the last day- Friday after lunch...and tell us what a bunch of idiots we were- literally. He would say things like 'I don't care if you're backed up 5 or 6 runs all night long...' commenting on us complaining about how busy we were, officers having to make high priority runs by ourselves, and how the new boundries he had laid out were all wrong causing officers to have a ten minute drive from one run to the next...When one officer said 'I work ten hours a shift, and I don't have 10 minutes to spare in that time because of all the report runs and 911 calls I make...' Cpt Cannibis replied "Why should you have ten minutes of free time? That ten minutes is MY time, NOT yours!"

This is what you're getting Denver. Be warned, be prepared. He WILL tell you all -when it gets bad and anyone complains- that he DOES NOT CARE, that it is not his problem, etc. He will actually say "I'm not here to be your friend', and various other comments about how your problems do not concern him. Locking up the bad guys, ACTUALLY patrolling the streets to deter crime do not mean anything to him. He wants stats- numbers- stuff like tickets, parking tickets, etc to pad the crime reports vs number of officer activity...he WILL have your command staff under-reporting and completely disregarding reporting crimes to make themselves look good.

Residential burglary? Nope- criminal damage to a door and a simple theft.

All of this is public information...don't just listen to us- check what the department before us said about him, and the department before that, and the department before that....

Ask your mayor what kind of a sweet retirement deal he gave him to get him to come. They paid 25 grand a year here into his retirement so he could draw afull boat after 5 years. This man doesn't give a dam about you or your dept all he is looking at is padding his retirement pocketbook. I have worked under several chiefs and he is by far the worst i've had. He hasn't made a rollcall on my watch since he became chief, as amatter of fact i've not seen the man in person for years. He will stay hidden at hdq and screw with the troops from there. Every PD he has worked for moral went to hel and they were glad to see him gone. I feel good now that he is leaving but I feel sorry for you guys in Denver.

We are still making runs in West Buechel because eventhough they have a police dept they have been instructed by the mayor and chief Manning not to do a thing except ride around get paid and burn W Buechel gas. I figureManning is kicking money back to the mayor. If not prove me wrong. Patrol your city answer your calls in your city. If not stay out of LMPD's way when they are there doing your job that you are being paid to do. If I were a citizen of the city I would be at every council meeting asking what the Hel is going on with MY tax money and why these guys are hired to do nothing.
