Constable in shopper shooting says Walmart security asked his help

Actually, it isn't an ordinance that he can't deputize anyone. He simply doesn't have permission to do it, making his doing it a felony offense. (Conspiracy to commit the offense of impersonating.) No one seems willing to open a case file and actually investigate what any number of witnesses ON LMPD seem to know for sure - by eyewitness accounts. Can't speak to the uniform ordinance, I haven't seen it, but they can't say he can't wear a uniform, just that he can't wear one that looks like LMPD, best I can tell, and he doesn't. It isn't an ordinance that he can't run lights, again, he simply doesn't have permission to do it - and again, no one seems willing to go out and cite him (or any of his quasi-deputies) for doing it. Why not go after him for the pig, too?
