You are exactly correct my friend! But UofL sports pay the way in this town...how about the high priced off duty Lt. that travels OUT OF STATE with the team, while WEARING LMPD UNIFORM!!! Those officers running ILLEGAL code 2 during Derby doing escorts? -the Chief's office grants that select few vacation time so they can work it all off duty. One Officer who gets off EVERY year for it has openly bragged he makes 20-25 THOUSAND dollars during those two weeks running escorts and providing 'security'.
