Metro EMS Workers Too Exhausted To Work Effectively

I agree u have no control on the rules in dispatch. Maybe our so called Metro Safe hierachy needs to spend some time in the radio room seeing the shi# we are sent on. Do you hear me Doug or Debbie. Somebody needs to wake up and get things lined out before someone does get hurt. No some of this crap we go on needs to be ELIMANATED. But no one has the nuts to say NO SORRY THATS NOT A POLICE MATTER. Again 1 Sgt in the radio room would solve a good size chunk of the problem or maybe give 1 of out $80,000 a year do nothing LT's something to DO. Since Metro Safe is not under police dept anymore I really don't think we can do anything. As for me if it doesn't sound good I WON"T go without backup and I don't care who tries to send me. I know dispatchers hands are tied so I make my own decisions about runs and if we have to argue on the radio so be it. I've had more than 1 1on1 talk with the dispatchers on my shift but were still family and families have disputes.
