Metro EMS Workers Too Exhausted To Work Effectively

This dept has to many people in the wrong places trying to keep their CUSH positions. NO ONE WANTS TO BE IN PATROL and are trying to figure how to get out of it from day 1. You have LTS who sit on their AS$ ALL DAY LONG at $80,000 ayear AND HAVE NO CLUE ON WHAT'S GOING ON ON THE STREET. We are to top heavy with command for our size dept. Generals, Asst chiefs, colonels, lt colonels, majors capts etc. Hel# you would think were the army. NO ONE CARES. There will be no changing of off days to avoid paying ot written in our contract. (Where are you FOP) If it was the case the city violates every day. YEAH RIGHT. This dept has not increased in manpower in 20 years, we still have the same amount of officers we did then making twice as many call as then. Thanks to the invention of the cell phone our run volume has quadrupled and sooner or later it catches up with us with someone getting hurt or killed making a 2 car run with 1 person. Yes radio will send you on 1 and get you backup when some CLEARS. All they want is their screen cleared so they can go back to what ever there doing. We need a administrator in the radio room screening calls and stop sending officer on bags of trash or my 6 year old won't go to school. When this command in the puzzle palace starts getting off the as4es and comes out on the streets in all the divisions and get's a first hand view of what's going on something MIGHT be done, until then do the best u can with the least amount of resources and stay safe.
