Third and uh.....how many of you want good ol' Mr. Downard for Mayor now or anyone like him. This was a good thing for the Democrats and by the way not a Democrat or a Republican to do for public employees like us. If they had not done this it would have made it even harder to get anything contract wise because everyone would have been able to say "Me Too" and hindered us getting anything period. We won't get much if anything, but let's say we do the others can't slow it on us until the city settles with them. Yes our contract is public record, but this ruling keeps ours exclusive from the firefighters and theirs exclusive from us.
