I am not taking up for anyone, but if it's OFF DUTY, what difference would it make whether you were running radar, working at UPS, working a U of L game, or any other job for that matter? To each his own, depending on what they enjoy. And what does salary have to do with it? Maybe someone wants some extra spending money, or a family member has no insurance and the cop working is helping make an 800.00 a month payment for one of his parents who has cancer and has no insurance. Get over yourselves folks. Do what works for you. I'm sure you think where you work off duty is your business.
