I think something similar to this happened a few years ago in a Kroger parking lot at Stonybrook. It involved a retired J-Town officer and the bad guy got half his head blown off.

Geeeeeezzzzzz, I was in training and saw all the new applicants preparing to do their POPS testing. That Andrea Rice who's in Recruitment was in her PT gear "shorts & instructor shirt". NO JOKE, she had more & longer hair on her legs than I do. And i'm a guy. Wow, what a good image that is. No wonder though, she was hand picked for that position. Way to go Ozzy. Atta Boy.

Wave 3 - LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - An investigation is underway at LMPD after their spokesperson told reporters the man behind the wheel in Sunday night's deadly accident on Dixie Highway would be charged with murder and DUI.

"At this point we are charging David Leanhart, he is a 50-year-old man," said LMPD spokesperson Alicia Smiley Sunday night.

Those accusations came before David Leanhart had even taken a breathalyzer. We found out Tuesday it appears that Leanhart was not drunk. In fact, he was never even arrested.

Reached by phone David Leanhart's sister Kim said: "They definitely should not have made those statements without knowing all the facts."

The coroner says 44-year-old Richard Hammond was killed around nine Sunday night as he was walking on Dixie Highway.

Everyone should go to this site and look up city employee salaries..WOW! go to police officer's and when it loads, click "YTD" TWICE in the far right box and that will sort highest paid officer to lowest paid... TOP FIVE is TRAFFIC and many pushing close to $30,000 in OVERTIME!!!! (only sept) YOU GO GUYS! HIGH THREE LOOKS SWEET.. I am jealous!

How has a metrosafe dispatcher made $41,000 in OVERTIME?????????? Her yearly Salary is only $47,000. She is on pace for $95,000 +. What is going on at Metrosafe.. Congrats Dispatcher Grider! She has blow away the # 2 highest in OT by $21,000... WTF!!!! Can you work that many hours. She must be there 24/7/365...
