As I said, I'm not Metrosafe, but I do have the same radio you do. And when it comes to switching between the police bands, that is all that is required, turning the knob. If you want to switch to fire or ems, yes, you'll need to look at the screen, but you could not even TALK to them before, and now you can. The mutual aid channels are duplicated across multiple bands.
