Someone mentioned that Green is related to the lady who ran Housing and stole all the money there. Is it just me or do democrats and those who serve Jerry seem to be corrupt?

The King Solomon Church was used as a location for a political event, hosted by a political group. They need to lose their tax exempt status immediately.

Gracie Lewis, a resident of Green's 1st District, said the voters in the district should decide if Green stays on the council. "What the white community refuses to believe is that black people have common sense," she said.

HA HA.... What a racist comment. A black man is the one who filed the complaint. Obviously she does not have any common sense, and she's not paying attention to the case or she would know that. Grow up Lady, this woman cheated people, and used the working taxpayers money for her own personal gain & cheated your own community and you all are upholding her. Geeeeeeezzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!

Judy Green has made plenty of hard working, tax-paying, african-americans angry too. Nobody wants their hard earned money squandered or embezzled. Nobody.

What you really have to look at is the whole picture. It doesn't matter whether Greene is black, white, yellow, or green. This has to do with the credibility of the council as a whole. If she get's away with the misuse of public funds, (which it appears she has) then the council MUST remove her from office. The public puts some trust in the council in this city. If she remains on it, and the WHOLE council thinks what she did is OK then the publics trust is GONE. If she did what they say she did then SHE HAS TO GO no ifs, ands, or buts about it. But in her mind it was ok to do what was done so you can bet your sweet as# she will play race, pickin on me, age, or anything she can to stay in office. I just hope if she appeals her dismissal to court she has to pay her own attorney fees. What I like is the part money turned up missing without a receipt and the next week her family went to the beach. Yeah right! I bet a weeks pay it wasn't on her money even if she did try and pay it back. You give people power and money and usually greed will show it's ugly head. Seems it did with her. If the public can't see any further than their own nose on this matter then they are stupider than I thought.
