While I agree with the sentiment I would rather have the following in my contract than a simple raise: - Better defined protections (i.e. better defined notice on change of hours and working conditions, etc, etc) - Locked in Health plan that includes both Anthem and Humana. - Guarantees on the cars - either take or leave em... - or how 'bout charging officers to use 'em for out of county travel (say $50 for every 10 miles as the crow flies) - which could raise revenue. - basically take the old county
