It was 2 sgts and 1 lt whom presented officers in the 5th with their hours per month vs the stats.

That tells the citizens with could do more with less.

Why would they do that?

Next they will tell us we need to punch a timeclock to get paid.

This stat thing the front office has going is going to be the downfall, and bite them.

So officers work 173.3 hrs a month. Vs arrest, citations parking tickets compared to hours worked is terribly wrong. The FOP needs to get involved

First of all from what I have seen on the site you "new guys" don't stick together. I have seen a whole lot of you all slamming each other. Second, the same fight to get more officer is as old as policing itself. I agree more officers are needed, but when you have command the is more worried about the department than the officers it's not going to matter. One reason I retire is I didn't like the the command. Most are spineless! Do you understand it is harder to become a P.T.O. then it is to be a sergeant? That chief prides himself on not holding and officers record against them when they are up for promotion. He should, if the were a screw up as an officer what the h&!! kind of sergeant are the going to be. Also the more officer issue is a Merit Board deal. They have to approve "pro activity hiring". If not LMPD will always work short.
