LMPD officer taken to hospital after alleged assault

bec there were abt 10 witnesses within' feet & he was handcuffed not resisting. he was too drunk to realize what he was doing. bottle wasn't observed until it was over-hence it was at night. no one is afraid to hurt anyone but i'm not some thug like u seem to be-or get ur facts straight

Monday morning quarterbacking is always the best position to play. When I had about 1 1/2 years on, this was 24 yrs ago, we got a run to Parkhill, can't remember what its called. It cuts thru to 13th I think, just south of Hill. Moore Ct., does that sound right? Anyway it was a fight run and there was one there who didn't want to listen or stop. Put us in a spot he had to go, the fight was on. He came to fight, we came to subdue. After he was subdued and cuffed, my partner had gotten a good punch to the jaw and I got the black eye, all 3 of us scrapes and cuts to knees, elbows.etc. When we took him back to the district a Lt. was there who actually got mad at us for NOT having to take him to the hospital. He told me" son, don't ever let 'em mark you like that, now he knows he can do it again" He couldn't understand, or wouldn't, that we were in a situation where we were outnumbered and had to call for help just to get out of there. I didn't understand that his point was we should have knocked his head off right when we realized we were gonna fight. Sometimes they are easier to handcuff when they are unconscious. Never made that mistake again. The Lt. was right. Back your brother officers. I can see both sides of this debate so take this story for what it is worth to you. Be safe.

i hate ppl that think they can whoop the police... if i was them cops i would of probably shot or tased him.
