The fact is it was bullying and not acceptable. The boys involved need to be suspended from school if they have not been so. This is not something that can be swept under the rug. I have to say that Metro police may not be involved in the process of looking into what happened but they are very well known for sweeping things under the rug. Go ahead and send nasty messages back.Thats what you do. However, you know that its very true in a lot of instances.
