WTF is the Chief thinking?!

I'VE HEARD THAT CAMELS CAN SURVIVE BECAUSE OF A COUPLE OF HUMPS......

Whether you like the officer or not, you should support the process to ensure it is done correctly. You people kill me how you turn and bash each other like it's an Olympic sport. If you have to follow the contract, and policies, shouldn't the department as well? You may not like the person being drug through the mud, or approve of what they've done, but out of sheer self preservation you should hold the department to task and make sure they follow all the rules to protect everyone's rights to due process. You never know when a target will be painted on your back, and if it happens, you will cry foul as much as anyone else should your rights be stepped on. Either stand together as one, or fall apart as individuals. The department does whatever it wants and then leaves it to their victims to fight back. I will fight until my last breath for what is right and fair, will you?

Speaking of turds, why is it that the port-a-potty company always puts the pots in a row at derby? Is it actually illegal to run across them? If so why do they put them so close together?

There would be no problems in terminating someone if the most qualified people were hired to begin with!

As I read many of the rants about the forced rehiring of Ca'mel, I think to myself about what a wise old officer once said.

'Boy, this place is great. If you look at the working grunts you have hard working men and women who want to do the right thing, and they get paid for it. Now when you look at the bosses, you start to see the differences. A good sergeant still things of him(or her to be politically correct although he didn't say that)self as a working stiff and will be out on the street with his troops once he gets done with all the bs. He (she) will handle the blue forms (you new guys have no clue about this) with style and grace. He (she) will handle a screaming turd filing a complaint with a polite smile that only offends the A$$whole and will take the a$$ chewing for the officer. Now if you are a turd yourself, he (she) will do you, but only if you have proven to be a turd. Then you have the other type, the one that never leaves his desk, and only studies to be a lieutenant... He (she) will screw you over, in a heart beat and will never ever put their name on any document that might bite them in the a$$ later.'

'Kid, I ain's sayin' all the lou's are bad... heck the occasional worker makes it there, but he will have a hard time gettin' to be a captain, and will never ever make it beyond that.'

So now i stand back and i watch the comedy of this clown show that is our leadership and I think, d@#$ the old ******* is still right, 17 years later. It seems no one in this little incompetants girls chain of command wanted to put their name on any paper, and now we have what they have earned us.

I can only hope that some of the decent types that have moved up will now have the sexual organs to start documenting the few turds among us. It is sad to me that I have talked to one or two who I have known for the better part of two decades and have only heard the party line coming from their lips, but maybe that is why they have the leaf and I am still happy on my beat.

Oh by the way before someone acts like a little biatch on here, always remember everything you write on here is read by many, many, many people who have nothing to do with the police.

A college degree doesn't make a good cop. As a matter of fact what I've seen lately is quite a few educated idiots, that know everything and won't listen to nobody with experience. And you wonder why your down at PIU and PSU as much as you are. I agree if you aren't cut out for the job you should not get past training. Extensions in training only breed trouble for the dept. Either your cut out to be a cop or not. There is no middle ground in this business the stakes are too high. Now all you young pups speak your piece and get over it.
