Councilman says police should not take home cars in order to save money |
RE: Councilman says police should not take home cars in order...
If I was told part of my pay was up for debate, I probably would not like it either. Since when does the Police have to be treated different than any other profession when it comes to pay.
If you are told your pay is X-amount, then 8 yrs later you are told, well that's not really the case, your 3rd shift differential pay is just a "perk" for working 3rd shift, then I think Ford or GE would have a Union issue themselves.

So I ask, Why is the Police looked at differently than other professions?

Once again, spoken like a person who only sees one side..........run another guy down for merely having an opinion........and an alleged fellow cop at that........where was he being righteous? And where was he being indignant? And then we talk about his State and welfare? What in the hell does that have to do with anything? When someone doesn't share your opinion, why can't you merely represent your point, agree to disagree, and figure out where two cops might have common ground. Geeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
