Probationary police officer fired The Courier-Journal March 4, 2011 A probationary officer with Louisville Metro Police was fired Friday for poor job performance. Queen Deborah Ca'Mel's termination was based on performance evaluations she'd received during her field training, which is when probationary officers work with senior officers on their beats, said Sgt. Bobby Biven, a police spokeswoman. She was sworn in as an officer on Jan. 29, 2010, after completing the police academy training program.
