LMPD officer indicted on misconduct, harassment charges

I bought my weapon and gunbelt out of my pocket before I was hired and didn't have a problem with it. Friend you had better talk to some other depts before you bellyache about this one, I have (Dallas, St Louis, Chicago, New Orleans, Nashville, Phoenix and yes I've talked to them all,and a bunch more.) Compare what you have against what they have and they'll look at you like your crazy, clothing allotment, take home cars, very few restrictions, unlimited sick leave, vacation accrual, buy back on vacation, pretty damn good insurance, part time work with few restrictions and uniform and car usuage etc. Wonder how you would feel if all this was lost in negotiations. Friend you had better wake up and quit bitchin about a tank of gas a month. You could be on the unemployment line with 10% of the rest of the world. Then what would you do? And yes I've been here a looooong time.
