LMPD officer indicted on misconduct, harassment charges

I hadn't seen that he made up a bogus case. It wasn't mentioned in this article. If that is the truth and he lied to the FBI, then I do see a problem with it. My original comment was I didn't see a problem with him looking into his wife's i-phone or using his computer system. I also don't see a problem if the FBI agreed to look into it for him but knew that it was his wife's i-phone. Making up a case /lying to the FBI will be two totally different issues for me. I am still waiting for the truth to emerge to make up my mind.
