LMPD officer indicted on misconduct, harassment charges

Yes the girl was intoxicated.........she should not have been driving. Other people are also responsible for her driving that night but I am so tired of seeing DRUNK typed a thousand times. The family lost their child. The Officer is going through a terrible time himself because he was in the accident......his family is dealing with someone who is probably facing some amount of guilt. No matter what the circumstances, guilt has to factor in the picture with all of them. The courts will decide what happened. The accident was clearly an accident. He didnt go out that night with the plan to kill that girl and she didnt go out that night with the plan to die. I don't get on here very often but when I do, I am amazed at the way that Officers defend Officers that should not be defended.........I am not saying this Officer was wrong but I am saying that we are held to a higher standard and I would hope that you all would stop defending the Officers that are clearly in the wrong!
