Retrospective on Louisville's Mayor, Jerry Abramson: PART FIVE

Be proud of your personal accomplishments and remember they make you the person you are. They do not make someone else less of a person. So much criticism for our fellow officers who make it to retirement. We should all thank everyone one of them for their service and hope we make there ourselves one day. Those of you who serve(d) overseas-thank you AND for those of you riding the beat, thank you. Every day people die in both capacities. Bring that camaraderie here to your partners...we need to know we have each others back.

And some of us have shed blood in Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq - wait for it - and.... DIXIE HIGHWAY. When i was at Southfields (just as when I was a Jarhead) I realized that we all come from different backgrounds, have different fields of expertise, and bring different assets to 'the game'. Give respect to gain respect. Demonstrate honor, courage, and integrity - and your partners will notice and hold you in high regard.

So lighten up there OPERATOR, sounds like you might have a chip on your shoulder and are 'judging' yourself. I.Y.A.O.Y.A.S.
