Metro Police officer in surgery after being shot

I watched this broadcast and the reporter was acting ridiculous about the whole thing. I think she was overly excited about all of it because she had never witnessed anything like it before. It was very odd. She seemed very upbeat talking about neighbors all on their porches and how cop cars were speeding by her when she first got there. She was talking with excitement like a CHILD. I did see her ask the witness if the cops jumped on the suspect and the witness, a younger black woman, said very clearly and bluntly, "no, they didn't jump on him. they walked him out in of the field in handcuffs and put him in the back of the car."

typical, if anyone doesnt kiss your a$$es, they are automatically bad people. How many citizens were shot this year, and not provided police escorts to the hospital?

yep, the hell with whas 11. They tried to take a dump on me too. They broadcasted a bunch of untrue, unsubstantiated crap that they never even bothered to check out before spewing their crap on the air. (years ago) Then, when they realized they were dead wrong, and their "story" was proven completely false by people that called in -they pretended it never happened. No reversals. No new story with the facts. Nothing. WHAS 11's goal is to dump on cops. PERIOD. The last time they approached me for an interview my response was, and I quote: "Bite a Fart."

I don't think any of the media outlets, well maybe 41, are the friend of officers. Usually Channel 3 and 32 are cut throat.
