Few people have positive encounters with police. Usually they're getting a citation, getting arrested, or being told their nothing can be done because it's a civil matter. The FOP needs to engage the more friendly people in the media, do its own weekly cable TV show or else post some videos on Youtube and get out its message, otherwise the message is only coming from the Mayor and the Chief. Don't expect the public to give a damn about police officers if their only encounters with police are negative.
