I have heard that a 25 year veteran officer, who is on light duty was searched by a sergeant not one but two days in a row to see if he had his side arm. Is that crazy or what? When female officers are on light duty due to maternity leave they are allowed to continue to carry a side arm. I was told that this officers' Major had him out following up Metro calls in an unmarked car. He was doing official work so he is required to carry a side arm! What in the world was this sergeant thinking? Does
