FOP still in fight with city over take-home car fees

LPD was always treated like kids you had a policy like now (metro) told how to function. JCPD manual was half the size of LPD SOP. I too agree and miss the two departments. Someone wake me up from this nitemare! RIP-jcpd

You are missing the point...what he was trying to say was that being told when to switch from long sleeve to short sleeve signified organization of LPD. It was the pride the department had in keeping all of its officers in uniformity. The department thought it looked more organized. It had nothing to do with being treated like a child, it actually made sense.
