FOP still in fight with city over take-home car fees

Because most of the people, including the media, have never been TOLD that - seriously. Every time a reporter doesn't mention that, a nice letter from the FOP needs to go to them, and their bosses, with the other side of the story, a letter to the editor needs to be generated, a blog post, etc. Instead, the stories go without any response from anyone. KEEP IT CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL. Do not assume people know these things. Every officer should have been keeping a log book with every off-work contact made, every time you stop CALL IT OFF ON THE RADIO. Go back to using X-ray numbers for it, not your radio number, which I truly believe was just a way to mask how many officers are on duty at any given time. Things that aren't counted don't count.

BETTER MAINTAINCE , CARS LAST MUCH LONGER AND STATICTICS SHOW IT ie ( CHEAPER FOR THE CITY ) I FOR ONE KNOW THAT MANY POLICE THAT DRIVE THERE TAKE HOME CARS TO WAL-MART, KROGER ect DRIVE BY BROKE DOWN VEHICLES ALONG THE HIGHWAY CALLING OUT ON THE RADIO ( RADIO I WAS IN THE WRONG LANE OR GOING THE OTHER WAY, MY FAMILY IS IN THE CAR. IF WE ARE TO DRIVE THE CARS OFF DUTY THEN WE SHOULD STOP NOT JUST CALL OUT ON THE RADIO. I ALSO FEEL THAT PAYING FOR THE CAR IS A BAD IDEAL. BUT IF IT COMES TO BE THAT WE MUST THEY SHOULD OFFER US THREE OPTIONS 1 - OFFICAL USE ONLY FEE- 0.00 2 - PERSONNEL USE FEE - ?.?? 3 - OFF DUTY FEE - ?.??
