The funny thing about the texting law is it will be challenged frequently due to being vague. I agree with the previous poster that mentioned the possibility of looking at your phone because someone is calling, turning off an alarm, etc. All a motorist needs to say on a texting based traffic stop is that their phone was ringing and they were looking at the incoming call.
