You would think people have more to worry about than someone texting while driving. Much more going on in this city and world than to worry about texting while driving. Everyone does it, no big deal to me.

The funny thing about the texting law is it will be challenged frequently due to being vague. I agree with the previous poster that mentioned the possibility of looking at your phone because someone is calling, turning off an alarm, etc. All a motorist needs to say on a texting based traffic stop is that their phone was ringing and they were looking at the incoming call. Case dismissed.
Before someone responds to my post and just can't wait to enforce this debacle (i.e. squirrel boy), try taking someones phone on a traffic stop and scrolling to confirm or deny any proof, better have a search warrant or you will lose more than your case.
