FOP President discusses allegations |
RE: FOP President discusses allegations
I must admitt I am one of those officers who do not attend funerals, and you know what shame on me. I should go but I dont. My life is hectic with work, off duty and family. I know I should make time to go and honor a fallen brother, and the original poster was right we should not take for granted all the other agencies in the state. Believe me guys its not all LMPD guys that look down on officers from other agencies, in fact a lot of us came from other agencies and know what its like to work in rural areas. Its just a select few that feel that way, hell they think that if you police in the county and not in the city that your not a real cop or some of the county guys feel that they are too good for the city guys. Its a never ending cycle, but the good thing is its not the majority of us guys and gals here at LMPD that feel that way the majority of us love getting help or backup from other agencies. I for one appreciate backup from anyone does not matter who they work for or what division they work in.
