FOP President discusses allegations

I'm so sick of everyone who polices in a metropolitan area think that they are the only real police. Police work is dangerous no matter where you work(i.e. Boston ,LAPD, LMPD, and anywhere else in the USA) Officers are getting killed almost everyday here is the states and most are from small agencies that are not anywhere near the city. For all you big city cops out there try policing in small towns or for a state agency that has no backup what so ever. I've done both and can appreciate what these troopers, deputies and officers from smaller agencies go through on a daily basis. We hear in the city take for granted what these guys go through out in the state. I remember when Peter Grignon was murdered the support from all the agencies throughout the state and even other states was amazing, but when a brother officer in the state is slain where is the support from us. Bottom line is policing is policing no matter where you are.
