FOP President discusses allegations

He's probably the retired LAPD guy who had a response in the editorial section today (Monday). While it's a big agency, I've got a guy I know out there - maybe they know each other.

And yeah, we're not near as big as LAPD - don't have the amount of garbage they have, and I'm glad for it. He needs to stop with all the high and mighty nonsense, too. Anyone wanna take a bet on morale and how low it dropped when the officers accused of beating that oh-so-wonderful Mr. King went on trial?

I'm sure that everyone on LAPD is a wonderful, motivated person, and that the agency has never had any type pf morale problem brought on by command staff and a decided lack of leadership from them. Right..Hey, what was that TV series loosely based on LAPD and some "dirty" cops (later found to not be so dirty, IIRC)?

Oh yeah, "The Shield", and it was based on folks out of LAPD's Rampart division. How was morale affected by that little scandal that is now known worldwide?

Get off the "I'm from a big city, and these here are the backwoods folks" crap. Move back there, if it's so much better, mmkay, Lieutenant?
