Why should 'police presence' benefit neighborhoods outside of louisville Metro/Jefferson County.
Not that a parked police car does anything to deter crime anyway.

Because every other Metro Louisville employee has to do so. Only police/fire are exempt. Personally, I don't care, except that if you live out of the county, you shouldn't get an assigned car to park at the county line.
