MetroSafe system gets $2.2 million for upgrades

Exactly, been on 16years, went to daywork just last year. Do I really want to be on daywork? No I do not, but after spending my entire career here and a previous department on latewatch, I needed the change for a while. Not sure will stay, but it has been pretty nice with the change up. Had we been on 4 tens, I would have stayed probably. I agree totally with you and the previous poster. They answered right with the "just not me" post and on the overtime topic. The person that sounded like passing judgement and this is just a guess is probably someone who has not been on long taking a jab at the other person because they think anyone on daywork or with more than 15 or 20 years on don't work anymore. That is not true, because we all know that some do and some don't. Hell, from what I have seen it looks like newer guys, some with just over a year do less than a lot of the older guys. Never thought I would see that! You have to think we older guys would have circles ran around us. You know what it is, experience, that must be it, and not running around worrying about what someone else is doing or blaming all the supervisors for our crappy attitude up to and including the Chief. Not defending the staff as some will attack me on here and say I am doing. Just believe that they do not 100% dictate my attitude, they have not stolen from me, told me not to work or anything else. Yeah my Sgt's are a little lazier than I am used to and attitude at times PO ya, but they don't ride the beat with me and the guys.
